When we arrived home from Disneyland on a Wednesday, after getting up at 3:50 A.M. and going through the process of coming home, August apparantly still had energy to spare, because he shut himself in the playroom and spent hours, really, HOURS designing a "set" and puppets for a puppet show he wanted to put on for the family after dinner. He also asked if I would record it; therefore, you get a glimpse of our cool (and FREE) after-dinner entertainment!:
We stare in awe and wonder at the billions of twinkling lights, using all our focus to preserve the memory of each one. An impossible task, but we accept the challenge; we live for the challenge.~Roxanne

Matthew at the Science Fair
The week before we left for Disneyland, Matthew's school had its science and art fair. Matthew's experiment was centered around whether playing motion video games is truly considered exercise, as determined by taking ones heart rate at rest and after playing, and using an equation that takes ones heart rate after exertion and seeing if it is raised enough from its resting rate to be exercise. The result? YES, it is exercise! We used the kinect system, so I'm not sure how the wii compares, but this was a great experiment for all of us!!

Last Round of Disneyland Videos
Evidence of our tired, moody children:
This teacup ride is memorable and I liked watching this because Alyssa said to us prior to getting in line for the ride, "If I can't go on the teacups, it will break my heart!" Then, in line for the teacups (in order for us to NOT break her heart), she complains, "I don't want to go on the teacups, you will break my heart if we don't get out of line.!" Pouting and frowning, as evident by the previous teacup clip I posted a few days ago. In this clip, just as the ride starts, all of the sudden you see her break into a big grin.
The kids were tired and moody at times, but it was all worth it!!
A true story lies within this clip:-)):
How to pass time by on the ride home from Disneyland.
Whether you are cheering for joy or were hoping for more, this is the last of the footage I took on our trip. I hope you enjoyed seeing these special moments for our family! We had a blast and am happy we could share pieces of the trip with our loved ones:-))

Heimlichs Choo-choo train.
This train went around the entire park (Disneyland). It was a nice way to see the sights.
Toon Town. We really loved Toon Town. It had such a fun feel, and there was a lot to do that didn't involve waiting in line, or much of one.
This phone had various character voices coming out of it.
Chip and Dale's Treehouse in Toon Town.
The kids all wanted to meet Pluto, so we did!
Where wishes come true:-))
