Crossroads Water Park

This swing set is located on the "dry" side of the park, where other large, fun playstructures, eating areas and lots of shade is located.
This whale is so cool-the kids you see lined up are there to slide down the head of the whale, where water sprays out and makes it perfect conditions for a waterslide!

The boys-Ryan was at the skateboard park also located in the layout of the park. One of the reasons I love this park is that there is something for everyone!! There is even a good-sized mall and movie theatres in walking distance.

A sea creature the kids found swimming through the padded blue water was no match for my boys.

Alyssa-spinning.
This was last Friday's event. The kids and I packed a picnic and enjoyed one of the "free" activities around. I made lunch more interesting by steaming hotdogs, placing them in their bun and wrapping them individually in foil as they might be served if you purchased them at an amusement park, and then packing the ketchup, mustard and relish in a cooler. The kids enjoyed this more than the typical sandwich we would otherwise bring on a picnic. Reagan loved the swings and playing in the water, Ryan spent all his time skateboarding where he met other fellow skaters and wore himself out, and Matthew, August and Alyssa loved the wet and dry structures equally. We plan on heading to this park again soon:-)
