JUNE 30th:-)))
We stare in awe and wonder at the billions of twinkling lights, using all our focus to preserve the memory of each one. An impossible task, but we accept the challenge; we live for the challenge.~Roxanne

Baseball Practice (Matthew)
What a gorgeous day for baseball practice, and at a green, scenic field, too! Ten kids were at practice today, and Matthew was the only one who had never played before...and you sure wouldn't know it-he did very well! I was expecting baseball to be a dull game to watch, but found it to be quite the opposite (maybe because my son was out there!). They haven't played a game yet, those don't start for a couple of weeks, but the team is underway with practicing and the coaches are great. We are looking forward to this season with Matthew it what may possibly be his "nitch" sport.

A Couple Pics. of Rea that make me laugh
The picture of Reagan in the mask is this scenario: the kids placed the mask on her, she must have felt pretty cool and big because she started dancing around in it. You could see that she was enjoying the attention the mask was getting her, so she kept wanting to wear it! So cute:-)
The other two pics. are from the hair clip photo shoot. I sat her on the picnic bench and she thought that was neat, plus the other kids were over chatting with her, so she just sat there cooly while I snapped a few photos. She just has such a funny, sweet personality! She makes me laugh all the time:-)

Depoe Bay
We stopped along Highway 101 to get this picture of the lighthouse.
On the path to the Sea Cave.
The kids on the path to the Sea Lion elevator.
Finally! Something to post:-) I took so many pictures from this trip-most of the ocean-I just couldn't get enough of the beauty.
We were so happy to escape to Depoe Bay over mid-winter break! Although it is true that we have had amazing weather up here in Snoqualmie, there is nothing that can compare to a trip to the ocean. The kids were very excited when I told them we were going to go to Grandpa and Nana's house-they were bouncing off the walls the day before! We left on Valentines Day and had an incredibly easy trip there and made it in under 6 hours. We made our traditional stop at Burgerville for lunch, and I treated the kids to their favorite shakes (they have awesome ice cream there). The place was decorated for Valentines day with pink and red balloons everywhere, and red heart suckers for the kids to take. We arrived at Depoe Bay and were very happy to see Grandpa and Nana. I know they were anxiously awaiting our arrival, too! The weather was Sunny every day that we were there. I couldn't have planned our timing better if I tried. I think by the end of the vacation I referenced how perfect the weather was no fewer than one hundred or so times-IT WAS AWESOME-one hundred one.
I have posted so many pictures, as to me, this is the closest thing to a scrapbook that I have right now. I also post them so you may get a feel of how our week was. We had a great vacation-THANK YOU Grandpa and Nana! We were happy to be there to celebrate your birthday with you!!

Some New Hair Clips

So, no new family pics. as of yet, but I detoured from my laundry and decided to create some new Spring hair clips today-I love these. I think I got some really amazing photos of them as well, which really helps to show people how cute these clips really are. Alyssa and I had fun taking these pics., as she was my model today-Reagan likes to rip out hair clips, but will keep the hats put in her hair, so she is more suitable for that job. Anyhow, I just thought I'd share a couple of my latest happenings-feel free to share this link if you know anyone who would be interested in getting some of these clips!
